AFT Partial-filled pipe Electromagnetic Flowmeter is an advanced flow measurement instrument designed to accurately measure liquid flow under partially filled or open-pipe conditions. Using the flow-area method, it continuously measures and calculates flow in open or semi-filled conduits—such as sewage pipelines, stormwater drains, and large channels without overflow weirs.
This intelligent system measures and displays instantaneous flow rate, average velocity, and totalized volume in real time. It is especially suited for applications in municipal rainwater, wastewater, sewage discharge, and irrigation water networks. The flowmeter integrates an electromagnetic velocity sensor, a liquid-level sensor, and a smart converter. Working together, these components continuously measure the flow velocity and liquid level within the pipe.
Users simply input the inner diameter of a round pipe or the width of a rectangular channel. The instrument then automatically calculates the flow rate based on cross-sectional area and velocity, and displays key parameters such as instantaneous flow, average velocity, and accumulated flow on the indicator.
