Temperature and pressure compensation vortex flowmeter

High-accuracy liquid flow measurement in small pipelines, compact threaded design.

Approved by:CE, SIL-3, ATEX Explosion-proof certification

This temperature and pressure compensation vortex flowmeter is a smart version of the standard vortex meter. It measures the Kármán vortex frequency in the pipe, and at the same time reads the medium temperature and pressure through built-in sensors. The transmitter then automatically converts working-condition volume to standard volume or mass flow. This solves the problem of changing process conditions (like steam pressure drift or gas pressure drops) and gives you accurate, stable flow data for energy metering, steam billing, and process control.

  • Built-in temperature & pressure compensation– Built-in temperature and pressure sensors do real-time correction, so you always get accurate standard/mass flow even when working conditions change.

  • Measures steam, gas, and liquid – One meter works for saturated steam, superheated steam, compressed air, nitrogen, and clean liquids, so you can standardize on a single model.

  • High accuracy and repeatability – Tight specs and digital processing deliver stable numbers, so small changes in flow are real, not noise.
  • No moving parts, low maintenance– The sensor doesn’t touch the medium and has no rotating parts, so reliability is high and maintenance is low.

  • Strong anti-interference design – Digital signal processing resists vibration and electrical noise, so readings stay steady on tough sites.

  • All-in-one display and totalizing – Local LCD shows instant and total flow (standard and working), so operators can read and hand off numbers on the spot.

  • Rugged build for field use – Stainless-steel body with anti-vibration design, so accuracy holds up in real plant conditions.

  • Explosion-proof & IP protection – Flameproof/intrinsically safe versions plus IP65/IP68 structures make it suitable for outdoor and hazardous areas.

  • Measurement media: Saturated/superheated steam, compressed air, nitrogen and other industrial gases, clean liquids

  • Compensation type: Integrated temperature + pressure compensation; can output working-condition flow, standard-condition flow, or mass flow (depending on setup)

  • Nominal diameters: DN15–DN300 (full-bore); DN200–DN1000 and above available as insertion type

  • Connection forms: Flange, wafer/clamp, or insertion (per pipe size)

  • Accuracy: ±1.0% for Liquid,  ±1.5% for Gas/steam

  • Repeatability: Liquid ≤0.2%, gas/steam ≤0.5%
  • Range ratio (turndown): Typically 1:10–1:20; with DSP structure can reach 1:30
  • Flow velocity ranges: Liquid ~0.4–7 m/s; Gas ~4–60 m/s; Steam ~5–70 m/s

  • Medium temperature: −40 °C ~ +280 °C, High temp with radiator is up to about +350 °C (sensor-dependent)
  • Body material: Stainless steel (1Cr18Ni9Ti / 304 / 316 optional)

  • Built-in sensors: Pt100 temperature sensor + pressure sensor (model with T/P compensation)

  • Display: Local LCD, shows instant flow, total flow, temperature, pressure, and diagnostic info

  • Data storage: EEPROM parameter storage, keeps totalizer and configuration after power-off

  • Explosion-proof grade: Ex ia/Ex d (model dependent) suitable for Zone 1/2 gas areas

  • Configuration options: Integrated type / remote type / insertion type

  • Communication options: 4–20 mA only / 4–20 mA + RS-485 / 4–20 mA + HART

  • Power options: 24 VDC / lithium battery / dual-power

  • High-temperature option: With radiator for steam lines

  • Explosion-proof option: Ex ia / Ex d

  • Steam metering for boilers and heat-exchange stations — automatic temperature and pressure compensation gives accurate steam consumption figures.

  • Compressed air and plant gas networks — stable readings even when pressure fluctuates.

  • Nitrogen, oxygen, and other factory utilities — used for internal allocation and energy management.

  • Hot and chilled water in HVAC / district heating — when temperature changes a lot and mass/standard flow is needed.

  • Petrochemical and chemical process lines — for clean process media where no moving parts and digital output are preferred.

  • Food, pharma, light industry — for clean steam or CIP utility lines needing reliable totals.
